Three Of One Tree

I had a board of well dried Santos Rosewood in storage.

Last year I got it cut into proper pieces for building guitar backs and sides.
The idea of creating a little Guitar Family grew in my mind.

At the Musikmesse in Frankfurt/Germany, I bought three mastergraded Alpine Spruce soundboards which were all of one tree. (proved by the numbering stamped on each piece of wood).

During my carpenter years in the 1970`s I purchased some beautiful grained Brazilian Rosewood veneer. This should become the cover of the headstocks.

Now the result is a kind of odd triplets which should not be split, because they can supply with a wide range of sounds to the musician and the collector.
